Astronomers Never Do This in Real Life

A view from the opposite side of the 74-inch telescope at the David Dunlap Observatory from yesterday’s post. While two astronomers are seen here discussing what one has just observed through the telescope’s lens, in real life astronomers very rarely do this. Images are today relayed through computers and viewed on screens rather than through these lenses.
